Date - Thursday 21st October 2010 - 7pm to 8.30pm approx

(doors open 6.30pm)

We aim to highlight the plight of refugee and asylum seeking youth who come to London. These young people are keen to enter education, learn English and work hard, but often they are denied the opportunity because of the system. They get labelled as adults when they are not and then detained in adult facilities and denied the education and support they need.

'Asylum' - Asylum is a short film dedicated to the children of Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and other areas of human conflict. Asylum seeking young people are enabled to tell their own painful stories through dramatic reconstructions, art and music. This is not a performance, it is a communication and we show how we can work together to a positive future. Asylum is a non-profit charitable production.

Attendance is free of charge but please RSVP to services@YouthSupport.net   or complete form below  if you wish to register for this event.
